Concordia Eco Resort

A Message from Concordia Eco-Resort:

In the words of our founder and eco-tourism pioneer, Stanley Selengut, "If you're looking for a place where tree frogs and hummingbirds feel just as comfortable as you do, in a remote, natural setting, please read on." The current owners of Concordia (since 2022) are laboring to stave off developers who see Concordia's twenty acres as St John's next five star resort. Since the hurricanes of 2017 & 2019, we've worked to restore the tree-fort cabins with their stunning ocean views and the elevated wooden walkways hidden among the trees. The pool is as crystal clear as ever and the trail down to secluded Salt Pond Bay is still alive with hermit crabs, singing birds, deer and our beloved donkeys. Will you come back? We want to engender Concordia's original spirit of cooperation and respect for people, plants and wildlife as well as the upkeep of the facility in harmony with our unique surroundings. We're hoping you'll join us for a two week stay in a tree-fort cabin in return for four hours/day of housekeeping, grounds work, local marketing or office work.  We're trying hard to keep Concordia accessible and functioning at a reasonable cost for eco-travelers. You're a rare breed who eschew 5 star conveniences for intimacy with the great outdoors in a rare and remote Caribbean paradise. Maybe you're at a point in your life where you seek the peace and simplicity of St John for months instead of weeks. Let's talk!
