Good morning, sweet souls,
Our theme today is Love.
Love comes in many forms
the child that is born
in our arms
with all its charms
captures our heart
from the start.
As life unfolds
we hold
that child as it grows
through a beautiful array
of the many ways
love is displayed.
We love them when they are happy
We love them when they are sad
We love them when they feel good
We love them when we feel bad.
We love to help
to heal
to provide
and guide
to insure
they have all they need in life.
A parental love
can come from
a union of love
that created life.
Romantic Love
can rise
and surprise
us at times.
To see ourselves
through our beloved's eyes
to recognize
the soul light
that shines bright
and sparkles with delight
can ignite
love's light
with a warm glow
in our hearts and souls.
Family and Friends
allow love to lend
bonds of
companionship
through bloodlines
that exist
in our family trees
and in those
we choose
as soul family.
Self-love,
is an essential place of grace
that allows us to nurture our own heart space
and must take place to embrace
the challenges and heart-aches
that we face.
Puppies and kittens
can make us smitten
dogs and cats
are where it's at
From puppy love
to giddy kitties
with our furry friends
love never ends
they are a part
of our hearts
we are so blessed to have them.
Love of nature,
trees, flowers, and plants
dance through our consciousness
with such delight
a tranquil sunset or sunrise
from mountain top
or ocean shore
gives us more
reasons to love life.
Love is patient
Love is kind
sometimes
and others, it's not
it hurts a lot
to lose a love
we've got
To see someone we love
rise above and take flight
might cause us immense
grief, and relief
that they suffer no more,
but to be sure,
that when a loved one dies
we cry tears of joy and pain
for the blessings
they gave
while they were alive
and to know that love
never dies.
It all begins and ends
with love
God's gift
is that we get to experience it
Our parent's gift
is that we know it
Our children's gift
is that we get to cultivate it
Our lover's gift
is that we get to share it
Even a villain or foe
can teach us to let go
and know
that in the end
Love always wins.
Love,
Nana
