Saturday Morning Inspiration - Awakening

Good morning, sweet souls,
Our theme today is: Awakening.
There is no mistaking
we are awakening
Darkest before dawn
they say
We must trust
and have faithÂ
that everything is okayÂ
and going our way.
Even if on the surface
we see chaos and destruction
It is an impetus
for us
to wake up
and experienceÂ
this awakening
that is shatteringÂ
so many things
that is not serving
or deserving
of our focus.
Often times
we do not align inside
unless we are challenged in life.
When all is comfy and cozy
we keep snoozing
and losing
the opportunities
to find the abilities
we hold internally.
When faced with tragedy
we disconnect externally
stop distracting
with the little things
and find the strength
to dig deep
so we can keep going.
The world is glowing
with fires
that ignite the divides
and give riseÂ
to more heat inside
fanned flames
casting blame
pointing fingers to proclaim
it is something outside
that causes the pain.
If we give pause
to our cause
and breatheÂ
to create peace
we can see
that we are awakening
and birthing a new reality.
It is not easy
it is messy
it isn't always pretty
but through the contractions
that squeeze
we awaken
to a new beginning.
The essence of spring
is here to bring
new energies
to unravel and uncurl
like the leaf
finding its awakening
after a dark slumber
of winter.
The year of the snake
is here to make
awakening
happening
with more grace.
It takes timeÂ
to alignÂ
and shed the skins
of where we have been
so that we can be born again.
What we do while those skins shed
can cause us contentment or dread
we can get out of the head
and into the heartÂ
to start the day
in a way
that can see
shedding is a gift
not a curseÂ
to beÂ
embraced fully
instead of denied.
The snake doesn't die
but it can feel death at times.
To fully align with letting go
we must surrender
and knowÂ
that the old
no longer servesÂ
and we deserve to rise
and shine
with new skinsÂ
that glisten
with awakening energies.
Awaken todayÂ
and say
I will find a new way
to operate
in this dimension
where we can see
the old is crumbling
and the new is happeningÂ
right through our awakening.
Our ability to chooseÂ
love over newsÂ
that dividesÂ
and collides
let's unify
and like the butterfly
that has taken time
to cocoon
and soonÂ
will fly
let our wings dry
in the sparkling sunÂ
of a new day
and a new wayÂ
of doing things
where we are freeÂ
one in unity.
This is OUR awakening
it is happening.
And so it is.
